Magnet Alert

Concept
What is a Magnet Block?
Each magnet's formation indicates the appearance of a small liquidity gap and an price impulse, making the timing after its creation a trend-following signal. Traders can validate the magnet's strong or weak through Strong / Weak Magnet and utilize the Push Strategy for trading.
Magnet Alert
MethodAlgo’s T.A.T.A system continuously monitors the price action of futures assets across Binance’s market, detecting the formation of magnet blocks and pushing alerts via the trading terminal. These alerts are categorized into two channels:
- HTF (High Time Frame) Channel: Alerts are sent for magnet formations on 4h, 12h, 1d, and 3d timeframes.
- LTF (Low Time Frame) Channel: Alerts cover 15m, 30m, and 1h timeframes.
The alerts are confirmed alerts, meaning they are sent after the candle closes, preventing the cancellation of realtime signals. Refer to Signal Confirmation In Power Ranger.
Optimized Trading Sequence
By using the alerts to monitor magnet formations, traders avoid the manual process of identifying magnets or waiting for one. The alerts allow for quick identification and to filtering of high-potential magnets for further analysis and trading, improving analytic efficiency.
Trend Sentiment
Magnet alerts are similar to the Liquidation Alerts and Breakout Alerts. When multiple assets generate magnets consecutively, it usually indicates a market trend. Through the frequency of Discord terminal notifications, traders can capture the real-time market sentiment.
| Tool | Range Limitations | Maximum Assets |
|---|---|---|
| Magnet Alerts | Binance futures assets | Unlimited |
| Killer Drone | No limitations | 25 assets |
Applications
- Utilize the Push Strategy for scalping or trend trading.
- Identify the current market trend direction.
Interface
TimeFrame: Displays the time frame in minutes (e.g., 720 represents a 12-hour timeframe, 240 represents a 4-hour timeframe). The specific timeframe will also be shown in the alert title.Exchange: Indicates the data source (exchange).Symbol: Only contract assets are monitored, with names ending in.Pas identifier for perpetual contract.Color: Bear magnets are represented in red, and Bull magnets in white.
Parameters
Magnet alerts provide data across different time frames through two separate channels:
# Magnet-HTF
- Monitors 4-hour, 12-hour, 1-day, and 3-day time frames.
- Alerts are sent after candle close and confirmed.
# Magnet-LTF
- Monitors 15-minute, 30-minute, and 1-hour time frames.
- Alerts are sent after candle close and confirmed.
Usage
Timing Signals
Since alerts are sent after confirmation, each push may contain multiple magnets. Traders can analyze and select those magnets that has most potentials using Strong / Weak Magnet and employ the Push Strategy for trading. or as part of confluence. For more details, refer to the Magnet Block documentation.
Profit-Taking Signals
In trending markets, magnets usually form in one direction. When magnets in the opposite direction appear, this could signal a market reversal, prompting traders to consider profit-taking.
Remarks
- Currently, magnet detection is limited to Binance, with support for OKX and other exchanges expected in 2025.
The Push Strategy requires certain experience in Distinguishing Strong / Weak Magnet , especially in low time frames where weak magnets may fill quickly. Beginners are advised to use this alert for trends or to focus on the higher timeframe alerts (#magnets-HTF) to increase success rates.
If you find the alerts too frequent, you can right-click on the channel and select Mute to silence the alert channel.
